Mattson’s unique commitment to synthesizing elegant, durable history with the boldest innovations of the future continues to attract attention and admiration. It’s why Maine Preservation honored us with a Statewide Historic Preservation Award. It’s why the Mayor of Saco, Maine, gave company president Kevin Mattson a key to the city. It’s why a former Maine Gov. John Baldacci made Kevin a member of the Governor’s Council on Maine’s Quality of Place, charged with protecting, investing in and enhancing Maine’s most beloved locations. And it’s why the Maine Downtown Center awarded Mattson the Outstanding Historic Preservation Project of the year in 2010 for the renovation of the Hallowell House for Maine’s Public Utilities Commission.
